It looks as though we are now into the release month of Samsung's fourth Galaxy S25 series handset. To recap, the company teased the Galaxy S25 Edge in January during its Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,067.99 on Amazon) launch event. Publicly, Samsung has not offered any indications since of when the Galaxy S25 Edge will be available.
Nonetheless, a promotional description of the device recently turned up online earlier this week with references to the device having the first Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 display. Now, Evan Blass, Sammyguru and Roland Quandt have added to the list of Galaxy S25 Edge-related leaks with a new set of material.
On the one hand, Blass has published a teaser image that indicates that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be officially arriving on May 13. To emphasise the image's authenticity, Blass subsequently shared evidence implying that has received a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice from Samsung for posting said image on X.
On the other hand, Sammyguru and Quandt have delivered a near full set of hardware specifications for the device, which clarifies that Samsung has used Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on its rear panel. As expected, the Galaxy S25 Edge will come in at a mere 5.85 mm, which undercuts the thickness of the Galaxy S25 by 18.75%. For now, Samsung is believed to have priced the Galaxy S25 Edge at €1,249 (~$1,415) with the following hardware:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset
- 12 GB RAM with 256 GB/512 GB storage
- 6.7-inch AMOLED, 3,120 x 1,440 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate
- 3,900 mAh battery
- 200 MP primary (f/1.7, 85-degree FoV, 1/1/3.-inch), 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2, 120-degree FoV, 1/2.55-inch), 12 MP selfie camera (1/3.2-inch)
- 163 g weight, IP68 certified
