Motorola’s new Edge 60 Fusion mid-range smartphone is set to launch in a few days. It boasts a bright 4,500-nit OLED display, a large 5,500 mAh battery, a water-resistant design and will be available in three Pantone colors. Motorola Germany is already teasing the upcoming handset on a dedicated webpage.

A few days ago, Motorola India confirmed that the successor to the Edge 50 Fusion will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, April 2nd. Now, Motorola Germany has put a teaser webpage online that is showcasing the mid-range smartphone and its three color choices called Pantone Slipstream (Blue), Pantone Zephyr (Pink) and Pantone Amazonite (Green).

Depending on the color, the back panel has a leather or fabric texture. With a large edge-to-edge camera bump and an almost bezel-less display that's slightly curved on all four sides, the Edge 60 Fusion looks quite modern. The Android smartphone is expected to be equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB of mass storage for prices around €350. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 and sport a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak HDR brightness of 4,500 nits.

The device is IP69 certified and water-resistant. Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has a 5,500mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C at up to 68 watts. Motorola has apparently opted for a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. According to the teaser webpage, the Edge 60 Fusion will offer an improved portrait mode that gives users control over the depth of field and can simulate focal lengths of 24mm, 35mm and 50mm.

Leaker @stufflistings apparently got their hands on a Motorola Edge 60 Fusion ahead of time and published a series of hands-on photos and sample shots. These pictures show decent image quality even in low light, and unlike some older Motorola smartphones, HDR photos are no longer oversaturated.
