Honor has released a series of teaser images on the Chinese social network Weibo. They showcase the next-generation MagicBook Art 14 before its official launch on July 2. The design is almost identical to last year's model, except the new version will be offered in the color choices green, light blue and gold.
Honor has already revealed that the MagicBook Art 14 is just 0.39 inches thick and weighs 2.2 lbs. The previous model was a tiny bit thicker and heavier at 0.45 inches and 2.25 lbs, but it's possible that Honor rounded the weight down in this case. On the left side of the chassis, there appear to be two USB-C ports, while the right side features one USB-A port, HDMI and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A rather unique feature is the webcam, which is positioned on the left side of the chassis.
When users need the camera, it can be removed from the chassis and magnetically attached above the display. This allows Honor to incorporate a display with extremely narrow bezels without a notch or punch-hole cutout. Thus far, only few details are known about the remaining specifications of this new revision of the MagicBook Art 14.
For instance, the teaser images advertise an extremely bright display with an HDR peak brightness of 1,600 nits. The previous model was offered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. Given that a new Snapdragon chip is not yet available, it is highly likely that Honor will equip the new laptop with the Core Ultra 7 255H or Core Ultra 7 258V.
