When Anker announced the Solix C1000 portable power station in November 2023, it cost quite a lot, selling for £749 in the UK after a £250 launch discount, €899 in Europe after applying a €300 in-page coupon, and $999 in the US. Now, over a year later, the LiFePO4 battery pack is available for less than half the price.
The Solix C1000 portable power station is available to buy on Amazon for $429, a whopping 57% off its launch price. While the price isn't as low as that of its rival, the DJI Power 1000, which dropped to $379 last month, this is still a pretty great deal.
The Solix C1000 has a 1056Wh LiFePO4 batttery capacity with over 3000 cycles. There are eleven output ports, six of which are AC ports for various household appliances. There are also USB-C ports that can be used to power mobile devices such as laptops, gaming handheld devices, and mobile phones. The power station has an output of 1800W but a peak output of 2400W for heavy appliances.
The portable power station can be taken along on camping trips, used indoors as a backup power supply when there's a power outage, or used outdoors to power machine tools. It also has a UPS mode with a switchover time of less than 20ms.
Anker has added app support so users can check the battery level, temperature, and other parameters. The app can also be used to turn on ultra-fast charging when you need to recharge the portable power station. Another interesting addition is the LED bar in front, eliminating the need for a lamp. The Solix C1000 has support for battery expansion, so owners can double the capacity to 2112Wh.
The Anker Solix C1000 can charge from empty to 80% in 43 minutes and to 100% in 58 minutes using an AC outlet and with UltraFast mode turned on. It also has support for solar charging — max solar input is 600W and that will fully charge the power station in 1.8 hours. Amazon also has a bundle that includes a 200W solar panel on sale for $699 instead of $1,299.
