Xiaomi reveals new slimmer Mijia Central Air Conditioner 3 HP

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Central Air Conditioning Duct Machine 3 HP in China. This smart home device is designed for a space measuring 30 to 40 m² (323 to 431 ft²). The company indicates that this is a particularly thin model, with the internal unit measuring just 198 mm (~7.8 inches) tall.

The Mijia Central Air Conditioning Duct Machine 3 HP has a first-class energy efficiency rating in China at APF4.30. According to the product listing, it can cool in 30 seconds and start heating in 60 seconds. The model comes with a wired Smart Air Management Panel, where you can select from seven wind speeds. Thanks to HyperOS Connect, you can also remotely control the smart home product via the Xiaomi Home app or with Xiao AI voice commands. On top of that, there is a self-cleaning mode, and it is said to operate with as little as 22dB(A) noise from the indoor unit.

The Xiaomi Mijia Central Air Conditioning Duct Machine 3 HP is now available in China for the reduced price of CNY 5,999 (~$820); it is listed with a CNY 6,999 (~$957) RRP. The company has yet to officially launch its air conditioners in Europe, where it sells other smart home devices like Mi Temperature and Humidity Monitor 2 (curr. €9.13 at Amazon Germany).
