A regulatory body has offered a new insight into what Samsung has in store for its next Galaxy Unpacked event. To recap, the company has already outlined that it will use this summer's event to announce a new generation of foldables.
So far, it has banned any of these upcoming releases. However, it has implied that one is an Ultra branded successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $939 - refurbished on Amazon). By all accounts, Samsung will unveil a Galaxy Z Flip6 follow up simultaneously too. Recent TKDN certifications indicate that a third foldable will be joining these pair too, unlike recent years.
As the image below shows, Samsung refers to this third foldable as SM-F761B. By its model number alone, we can infer that this is a second Galaxy Z Flip variant rather than Samsung's long-rumoured tri-fold smartphone. Incidentally, recent rumours point to Samsung restricting the latter to a limited release in the same vein as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
Consequently, it seems that Samsung is preparing the so-called Galaxy Z Flip FE or Galaxy Z Flip XE to launch alongside its Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 siblings. The trio are currently expected to line up with the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic too, with Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy G Fold.
