Nvidia allegedly plans to show off the RTX 5060 Ti sometime in mid-April. We won't know for sure until that day because Nvidia hasn't been exactly forthcoming with launch dates recently. Either way, a new leak tells us how much the mid-range desktop graphics card could cost.
As stated previously, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is slated to launch in two variants: 8 GB and 16 GB. The former will cost $399 and the latter $499. Of course, this is the tentative MSRP and custom variants will definitely cost more, and in some instances, even be more expensive than a RTX 5070.
But, that isn't necessarily a bad thing because the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB can potentially outperform the RTX 5070 in VRAM-bound games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This has happened before with the RTX 3060 12 GB and will definitely happen again with the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB having the potential to punch well above its weight class.
That leaves us with the regular RTX 5060. If the above prices are accurate, a $299 price tag seems plausible. But, that won't launch until May. The final piece of the puzzle is the RTX 5050, which is slated to make a comeback this generation. A $199 asking price would be ideal, and it would help reestablish Nvidia's foothold in the entry-level GPU market.
As always, price-related rumours tend to be finicky because they can be changed at the last moment. That is pertinent now, more than ever, due to market uncertainty stemming from tariffs and whatnot.
