Oppo has released a series of teaser images along with a video providing an early look at the Oppo Pad 4. The tablet appears to sport a brand-new design featuring a thinner body and a much smaller pill-shaped camera module housing just one camera and an LED flash.
Compared with the 12.1-inch Oppo Pad 3 Pro, the company’s next-gen flagship tablet looks to be significantly larger. As confirmed by the teaser images, the Pad 4 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch display with a resolution of 3,582 x 2,400 and a peak brightness of 900 nits, suggesting it may still use an LCD rather than an OLED panel.
The Oppo Pad 4 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with 8 to 16 GB of RAM and 256 to 512 GB of flash storage. On Chinese social media and e-commerce platform Xiaohongshu, the base model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is listed at ¥5,999 (approx. US$827, or €765). Additionally, a free stylus will be included with the first 500 units sold.
The latest challenger to the 13-inch Apple iPad Pro (approx. US$1,099 on Amazon) will be officially announced on 10 April. Whilst Oppo has yet to disclose further specifications or any information on a potential global launch, the promo video below showcases the tablet's quad speakers, stylus, and a keyboard case with a large trackpad.
