Oppo introduced the K12 series of Android smartphones in 2024, and has now announced that it will keep going in 2025 with a new variant.
The K12s is thought to undercut the Realme Neo 7 SE with the same combination of a massive 7,000mAh battery smartphone and fast 80W charging by pairing those cutting-edge specs with the budget Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC for the first time.
The OEM has hinted that the K12s might start for as little as 999 yuan (~$137) despite its potential for a premium battery-life experience.
The device also challenge the rumored Honor X60 GT with the same IP65 rating, "multi-function" NFC and the infrared (IR) blaster that can turn a smartphone into a universal remote control for a wide range of devices.
The K12s might have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, much like other members of its family, although its 50MP main rear camera is said to be accompanied by a less worthwhile 2MP sensor.
It is said to have 8GB to 12GB of RAM and 128GB to 512GB of internal storage. Oppo has announced that the K12s will be unleashed on the Chinese market on April 22, 2025.
