The Oppo Find X8 Mini is thought to look a lot like the pre-existing X8, but with a screen of ~6.3 inches in diagonal length as opposed to 6.59 inches in the latter.
The upcoming device is tipped to be just as clear and responsive as the rest of its series with the same 1.5K (2640x1216) resolution and LTPO display technology, according to the prolific leaker Digital Chat Station.
The tipster also now hints that the Mini will have the same rear camera specs as the X8, which has a single 50MP periscope zoom lens (while the higher-end X8 Pro has 2).
The X8 Mini is also thought to retain an optical fingerprint reader for its flat, slim-bezel display and wireless charging - hopefully the same ultra-fast 50W magnetic charging as the X8 and X8 Pro.
The Mini is also now backed to upgrade to the new kind of Alert Slider that looks and acts more like the Action Button found on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
It is thought to be one of the first Oppo flagship smartphones to debut with the new feature, after the X8 Ultra in March 2025.
The Find X8 Mini may or may not ship with the upcoming Dimensity 9400+ processor from MediaTek, although some rumors assert that it will stick with the 9400 of the X8 and X8 Pro.
