Nintendo Switch owners (available on Amazon for $315) can look forward to five new games in the Nintendo eShop this week - all from different genres. We have summarized below what gamers can expect from the individual titles.
Carmen Sandiego - March 4
This puzzle adventure is the latest entry in the Carmen Sandiego series, which began in 1985 with Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?. Players step into the shoes of the legendary master thief as she takes on the criminal organization V.I.L.E. Traveling across the globe, they use high-tech gadgets like gliders, grappling hooks and cloaking devices to outsmart villains and recover stolen treasures.
Ever 17/Never 7 Double Pack - March 6
The Ever 17/Never 7 Double Pack brings together two classic visual novels by Kotaro Uchikoshi. In Ever 17 - The Out of Infinity, seven people find themselves trapped in the underwater amusement park LeMU after an accident. To escape, they must work together and solve intricate puzzles. Never 7 - The End of Infinity follows a young man attending a seminar on a remote island, where he struggles to prevent a tragedy he has foreseen. Both games blend science fiction, mystery and romance into gripping narratives.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars - March 6
This bundle brings remakes of Konami's classic JRPGs from 1995 and 1998 to the Nintendo Switch. In Suikoden I, players control the son of a general who leads a rebellion against a corrupt empire. Suikoden II follows two friends torn apart by war, betrayal and political intrigue. The turn-based combat system allows up to six characters to be strategically positioned, with large-scale battles and one-on-one duels adding variety to the action.
Sorry We're Closed - March 6
Sorry We're Closed is a survival horror game following Michelle in her final days after being cursed by a love-obsessed archdemon. As she struggles to escape her fate, she navigates life in her London neighborhood, meeting residents who each battle their own inner demons. Choices directly shape the story. The game features a unique combat system that blends fixed camera angles with fast-paced first-person shooter action. Players must also use Michelle's "third eye" to peer between worlds, uncover secrets and solve puzzles.
Morkull Ragast's Rage - March 6
This 2D action platformer puts players in control of Morkull, the god of death and darkness, who is fully aware he's a character in a video game and isn't shy about breaking the fourth wall. The goal is to help him escape Ragast, the dark realm he rules, so he can unleash his evil plans on the world. The game stays true to classic platforming but adds fast-paced combat, with Morkull using quick melee strikes and powerful special abilities to take down enemies.
