The Moto Pad 60 Pro is Motorola's latest tablet, having primarily focused on smartphones in recent years. Motorola is offering the tablet in two memory configurations, although both come in the same Pantone Bronze Green colourway. According to the company, the Moto Pad 60 Pro will be available with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, which can be configured with 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable storage, respectively.
Regardless of the memory configuration chosen, Motorola also includes a 12.7-inch IPS display that outputs at 2,944 x 1,840 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness. The company remarks that the large display supports 4,096 pressure levels with an active stylus too, as well as 10-point multitouch.
The 620 g and 6.9 mm thick tablet also contains a 10,200 mAh battery, which Motorola claims will last up to 35 hours between charges. Our tests with the comparably equipped Lenovo Idea Tab Pro suggest that these claims are rather ambitious. The Moto Pad 60 Pro should deliver nearly 17 hours of local video playback and over 13 hours of web browsing, though.
The inclusion of a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset effectively confirms that the Moto Pad 60 Pro is a re-branded Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. This is not to say that Motorola's new tablet is slow by any means; a version of the Dimensity 8300 also underpins the Xiaomi 14T and Poco X6 Pro (curr. $298.99 on Amazon) that impressed us when we reviewed them last year. However, it remains to be seen whether Motorola will offer the tablet in other markets at this stage. As it stands, the Moto Pad 60 Pro will go on sale in India for INR 29,999 (~$351) on April 23.
