The new Hyte X50 stands out with its striking design. From the highly perforated steel front cover to the transparent side window, nearly all its components feature curved edges, creating a distinctive look that defies the trend of increasingly angular PC cases. According to Hyte, special attention has been given to maximising airflow through the X50.
To achieve this, the case features a perforated side panel, front, back and base plate and can accommodate up to ten case fans. The bottom can fit three 120 mm fans, whilst the front and right panel each support three fans or one 360 mm radiator; an additional fan can be installed on the back panel. There is a dedicated chamber designed to conceal an ATX power supply and streamline cable management. Hyte also incorporates special silicone cable grommets, which are discussed in greater depth in the Gamers Nexus video below.
Both the side panels and front plate are removable without tools to allow for quick and easy access to the internals. The Hyte X50 will be available multiple colour options, including white, black, red, pink, green and violet. The Hyte X50 Air, a lower-priced model that replaces the transparent window with a second perforated side panel, will be offered exclusively in white and black. Pending any changes, the X50 and X50 Air are expected to cost around $150 and $120, respectively. Their availability has yet to be revealed.
