Epic Games Store: New free game giveaway worth $35 is now live, but only for a limited time

Last week, the Epic Games Store announced the giveaway of not one, but two titles - Beyond Blue, and a surprise game, Humankind. Alongside, they also revealed the free game for the week of February 13-20 - F1 Manager 2024. This $34.99 game is now free to claim on the Epic Games Store.

Developed by Frontier Developments, F1 Manager 2024 features an immersive Formula 1 management experience. Players can lead one of the ten official F1 teams or create their own, with the ability to manage aspects such as race strategies, car development, and staff management. The game also introduces a new mentality system, which requires players to manage the morale of drivers and staff, which in turn impacts on-track performance.

Upon its release in July 2024, F1 Manager 2024 received generally favorable reviews. Critics lauded its realism and depth, though some were quick to say that it felt similar to previous installments with only minor improvements. On Metacritic, the game holds a Metascore of 81, and a user score of 8.0 - both pointing towards a 'generally favorable' experience.

To run F1 Manager 2024, your PC should have at least an Intel Core i5-4590 or FX-8370, 8GB RAM, and a GTX 960 or R9 280X (3GB VRAM). For a smoother experience, a Core i7-7700 or Ryzen 7 2700, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 1080 or RX 580 (4GB VRAM) are recommended. The game requires 30GB of storage and runs on both Windows 10/11 (64-bit).

To claim your free copy, log into your Epic Games Store account, navigate to the Free Games section, and add F1 Manager 2024 to your library before the promotion ends on February 20, 2025. Once claimed, the game is yours to keep permanently.
