It seems that DJI is on the verge of releasing a new consumer drone. So far this year, the company has focused on expanding other product lines, including the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P (curr. $149 on Amazon). While DJI has hinted at introducing new products just yet, leakers have discovered fresh details about the Mavic 4 Pro, which is expected to be DJI's next drone release.
For example, Quadro News has now published high-quality images of the drone's housing, embedded below. According to the leaker, there is no chance of official specifications surfacing anytime soon, which raises the question of when the Mavic 4 Pro will be officially available.
Meanwhile, Jasper Ellens has revealed that DJI's next Mavic drone will sport a camera housing capable of rotating to 180 degrees with 1.4x, 2.5x and 6x zoom levels on offer. As Ellens points out, 180 degrees would allow the Mavic 4 Pro to shoot vertically either above or beneath it mid-flight. This will be joined by up to 70 degrees of tilt, compared to 35 degrees for the Mavic 3 generation.
