Early reviews for the new ROG Flow Z13 have now been published globally, including ours for its cheapest Ryzen AI Max+ 395 variant. The publication of initial reviews has coincided with the opening of pre-orders globally, albeit with some caveats.
For example, Asus US does not have stock of the new 2-in-1 just yet, nor does Amazon, Best Buy or B&H Photo. In fact, only Newegg is currently accepting pre-orders. Even then, the retailer is selling a single variant priced at $2,299.99 with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.
Newegg also stresses that pre-orders will not begin shipping until March 18. Meanwhile, Asus is holding the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) back until April 2 in the UK, where it starts at £2,199.99 with the same memory configuration but a lesser a Ryzen AI Max 390 APU. By contrast, three SKUs have reached JD.com in China, including a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 option paired with 64 GB of RAM. The vaunted 128 GB RAM option is not available in any capacity for now, though.
